Nevil, a few more words about the "giants, once we had!"? Are you hinting at ruins of human dominated civilisation that existed?

Ganesh, It is about our Indian Elephants now considered endangered due to extensive pouching for tusk n alarming decline in male-female ratio .. if we don't act, their extinction is expected in a decade or two! :( .. by 2040, i am referring future years.

Dear Ravi,
If you don't see Elephants, it's my failure! Explaining will be more like explaining a joke, where we loose the fun :D

Yes......It's a great 'seeing' of '2040'....
Just a hint and entire abstraction grows by itself.....I do believe this is how perceiving and conceiving of both outer world and inner world when blended makes a 'fine-art' vision.....
And how concrete image turns out to be in a flow of abstraction....and it weaves in us a story of extinction.....

Thanks and regards...

Hi nevil,

I went though this image many times. Now I realise what is the giant here.

Those broken metal piece resembling the elephants will be the elephants we will have in 2040.

This is very nice concept. And a very good image under the 'change' theme. I very much liked the post apocalyptic mood here.

Nevil, Its surely not your failure. I was the only one who was not able to see it. But now I see it. Thumnail image helped me to make out! Great visualisation. Fantastic one for the theme.

Is it a "Wall-E" kind of future you are trying to foretell here, Nevill? Very powerfully done!

Commentby Nevil Zaveri on Tue Dec 11, 2018 7:32 pm

Thank you everyone for 'seeing' n motivating words.
@Ramesh, I was not aware of Wall-E, but yes, something like that we see in futuristic sci-fi movies.

Regards.

It took several visits to understand what this image is all about. The corroded metal piece shows the tough times it underwent and shows the bleak future every species has. TFS

Prashanth

the tilt, the debris creates a uneasy feeling and makes one worry about the giant
