Curves amidst lines, a nice visual. I think you have managed high tones very well, Raj. May be we need to see this critically in a print.

Nice juxtaposition at the visual and metaphorical level. And which one is more ' steely ' ? Especially that one is presumably built to keep the other out.

Thanks for sharing

The man versus nature. We like the nature, but not when it comes to near. Better close it out.
I like the composition and the fact that you did not go nearer - there is now more attention on the net than there otherwise would have been.

This is a very interesting image for me, Raj.

Usually when the viewer sees an image the anchor point gets the immediate attention. Then other elements like background, subjects if any, details, tonal ranges etc gets the attention. At the end eyes settle on the dominating element be it the anchor point or the background. Then the image as a whole starts getting consumed by the viewer.

Here in your image moth gets the first attention then the eyes move to background pattern. After that, this is where it starts getting interesting, my eyes weigh both but doesn't stop at either of those, it wanders between the two. There seem to be a friction between the two to get the attention. Would love to know about your thoughts on this.

Best regards,
Prashanth

thanks Prashant . I agree with you on the visual flow. I did not put so much thought when I made the image. But I did decide to keep the moth much smaller than a macro take.
I did experience the friction but was not conscious of it and did not articulate as well as you did. Appreciate your skill and time taken to observe so closely . Thanks
