I like the gentle rubbed effect which is nicely contrasted by crisp definition of twigs in water. Very artistic image, Sacha.

The subtle presence of the egret and the stillness of the grass complement each other so well, Sacha. Excellent work

Fabulous image Sacha. Charcoal sketch like egret is so soothing to look at and the sharp reeds anchor well. Well done. TFS

Thank you all..
All the pictures, or, rather the bulk of the pictures of the Egret were taken a few years ago over a period of 8 months. That's the time it took me to do the entire series, as I went to the same spot every day or other day and with each passing day got closer and closer to the Egret, while scouting various vantage points I could sit at and get the pictures that I envisioned. Apart from getting as close to the egret and getting it comfortable with my presence, I had to work on getting the perfect light and reflections on the water, so that took a while, cloudy days were not an option, rainy days further delayed the work as it meant water level rising..
Anyway, time well spent, as I got my desired results.
Thank you again.
Do forgive the typos and grammatical errors, typing on a phone is quite painful!

A photo that 100% suites my taste buds! Brilliantly composed and hats off to your efforts and visualisation. Love the subtle hint of egret in motion against dominant and contrasting twigs. Tfs.
