Nature's Eye
Made this image last year. I was waiting for such moment for very long time. I had an image something like this in my mind for last 4 years. After 4 years suddenly with great surprise last year I got to see the same moment. I thanked God many times! I realized that if one see dreams with full mind power & try hard to make it true it's possible whether it is in our hand or not. I've made many different types of images which I'll post later. In flock there were Black-tailed Godwits & Ruffs. I also got the moment of lesser flamingos doing courtship display in water & waders were doing acrobats in air. Sky was full with waders. It was amazing to witness such beautiful moment. Eagerly waiting for your views.

This for sure is a wow moment :).. The reflections complete....
I am sorry but I wanted to see how it looks in B&W so used the web version and converted it .. Increased the contrast and found out that it amplifies the meaning of title .. Also noticed that tilt works well here(in b&w).... Posted it here ..
Let me know what you think

Can you believe this ? Ashwin ji, you are blessed to be in Jamnagar and I love the way you see things around you. Hoping to meet you, Vatsal and your friends for a longer time this winter. Would want another bite of the lovely Thepla and the carrot pickle your wife cooked for us all.

Superb one Ashvin and I really like the quote "I realized that if one see dreams with full mind power & try hard to make it true it's possible whether it is in our hand or not" as well :). Great moment and witness.
I am not sure if you are totally against PP but this requires the necessary tilt.

An amazing image here Ashvin ! May be I would consider leaving a few more pixels at the top and bottom. I also I would increase the contrast in the darker region (left most slider on "levels" tool) to emphasizes the waders more. Overall you have a winner here. Thanks for sharing.

Oh, looks like Manoj exactly did what I mentioned - but I have color version in mind.. (Normally I don't read others' views before I enter mine to make sure I don't get biased by them :) )

Just saw the black and white conversion by Manoj and I think the impact has just gone up by a few times. Thanks Manoj :).

This magic moment has been captured exceptionally well. I wish you had wider lens to cover more at both ends. Thank you for sharing.

What an amazing moment it would have been! Very well made image and excellent eye! The definite improvement is the tilt which can be corrected easily. A bit more wider angle might have helped further...

Thanks a lot you all for kind words. I also liked the B&W version. I wanted this image in color because I think the pink, blue, white, green & dark yellowish tones are the main essence in the image. I also agree on tilt & will keep in mind from the next time for sure. The moment I saw was very sudden. I was photographing some waders sitting near me with my 100-400. When I saw my dream moment I moved the camera towards it in quick action. I started shooting it in 100 mm. After they settled down I changed the lens & attached 18-55 mm but they didn't do acrobat again. I too was wishing for wider perspectives.... I went at the place again & again for more than one week for wider perspectives but didn't get it..... But I still was satisfied with all the shots I got...

What a marvelous image....This is not an easy job to find such a moment...This happen only once in a life...Great work done here....Loved the red line created by the flamingos, as if the nature's eye has a fire in it...I have also gone through the image made b&W by Mr. Manoj, that is also a great one and the both the images have their own charms separately....Hope such feast will continue....

And I agree with you in the description you wrote Ashvin. Its like the waders did the exact acrobat together once , so that you can get the shot you wanted for long.. Happened to me too.. I was shooting lightning once and was about to pack up after I got few ok shots. My heart told me to wait few more mins longer and I did... That was the interval when the sky lit up magnificently and I got the shot I wanted.. Did thank god for giving me the chance :)
