As the sun sinks, it lies silent and vast. gently undulating. And you imagine those hoofbeats 800 years ago...

beautiful layers and the color. lower part of the image appears darker on my monitor. I can imagine the Genghiz Khan's army passing thru' this place :)

arati.its a lovely frame.. simple lines..warm colours..and u make it come alive with the mention of Gengis khan and hoofbeats..

Thanks Shiva, Vikas and Neelu. It is just a simple image of an ancient landscape. I liked the hues, and so captured it.

Can i answer your question with an image, Ganesh?
For vast tracts you see no one, no machines, no houses... only silent lonely shepherds and shepherdesses (one in the image below), and these grasslands ...
