A non nature photograph !!!!!!
Yes the subject is non-nature but the pigment used to make this picture is why I posted this.
This is made with a mineral called Red Ochre. It is hematite ore naturally found. This particular pigment was foraged from Hosapet region as a natural source (not by me ). Red Ochre is taken from the earth ground and honey / gum arabic are added and used as a pigment

Red Ochre has been used by humans / pre-humans ( even Neanderthal ) for ever. Earliest known usage of Red Ochre is 250,000 years ago.
All the earliest (paleolithic / Neolithic ) rock art used Red Ochre

Another point of the image is that it combines two turning point inventions of humankind in one image ( pun unintended ! )
1. To be able make a mark on a surface 2. Of course the wheel

Admins - Hope I can retain the image :)

Thanks for the interesting info, Raj.

Nevil, the illusion of rotation is very strange - the wheels seem to rotate in clockwise and anti clockwise at the same time at two ends (left/right).

Thanks both missed that optical illusion. I can experience it now.
