The year 2023 has gone by! Now, we as a small forum, as a small family, are 15 years old! This long journey has been wonderful, memorable, revealing and fulfilling. Collectively we have found a new meaning in "Nature Photography" and we are on our own path in this soul searching beautiful journey.
Coming to the image making, over the years all of you at CNP have set a very high standard for yourself in your unique visions, in your thoughts and the final execution of them into memorable images. Like every year, we the moderators at CNP spent quality time to choose some unique visions shared during 2023. This is one of the most enjoyable as well as difficult task for us. After many hours of review and debate on the chosen set we could not arrive at one image as the "Image of the Year". We were also aware that this act of not selecting "Image of the Year" (IOY) might be perceived as an act of arrogance. However, the selection team wanted to be honest and wanted to retain the spirit of the process. Again, this is just to challenge our members to think beyond, share their images and have some fun. The purpose of this year end selection (IOY selection) is NOT to create an unhealthy competition among us! That said, we chose the following images which we think are very unique and memorable (in no particular order).
