Caught this leaf in mid fall....do you know how difficult it is to 'manually' focus and actually *catch* a falling leaf? I do! ;)

Thank you for looking,

cheers

I found this leaf floating down the slough......it looked so out of place on one hand, yet so natural on the other.
Taken from my kayak.....

Thank you for looking,

cheers

well.....my last submission was dark and gloom so I offer up a 180 degree turn ......I hope you indulge me this entry, as I believe it does fall within the guidelines of CNP forums.....and will give you an insight into my soul.
2 of my most favorite things to do...that make me the happiest....1.photographing nature 2.while in my kayak. This shot encompasses both...can you guess what created the yellow coloring?

Thank you for looking,

Erin T.
    bored....rainy day....gutters....dripping.....photograph

This is NOT shot in B/W. The dark is contributed to a rainy, gloomy day and trees serving as the background.

Thank you for looking,

Erin T.
I live on a lake and one of my favorite subjects to photograph is simply the water....it is amazing the subtle differences you can capture just by shifting your angle by a few inches vertical or horizontal. Here the colors are created by the blue sky and white clouds...the dark lines are from the trees along the shoreline....is there really movement, or is it a trick of the eye?

Thank you for looking,

Erin T.

I live on a lake, and one thing I really love doing, is playing with the lighting of the water as it applies to the reeds. The colors are natural and created from the blue sky, and clouds as they reflect on the water. The reeds are a constant source of creativity for me, as I figure out new ways to convey surface tension and reflections.
