Me and My Shadow
Atop a bridge on a stream in Anshi National Park I saw a shallow sand bank and the fishes used this to access the deeper waters on either side. This one is a full frame and I would have loved to show it closer but the ripples decided that they would be lost if I cropped this one. Shot in mid-day light

simple, yet very creative.. loved the ripple pattern and the color of the sand.. the angled tail makes it even more special (wish the side fins had opened up as well).. although this is a full frame, i wonder how it would have looked if the fish was placed in the bottom 1/3rd of the frame to the right..

A unique perspective here VMR ! I agree with you that ripples hold the image as much as (or more) compared the fish and its shadow. Wish you had an opportunity to get the fish alone bigger in the frame yet retaining those ripples. I think mid-day light seem to work perfect here.
