Pondering over their future
Shot this image last year during monsoon. This one seem to worry about their future. Diclofenac which has caused nearly elimination of these beautiful creatures from the subcontinent, though banned by the Govt, apparently still exists! Heard that Ramanagar is being declared as Vulture Sanctuary. The rocks are getting fenced soon and there'll be vulture restaurant closely which will feed Diclofenac free cattle carcass to these special birds. Hope they thrive.

Love the space above Gautham. "Stood up" posture of the bird would have added lot but then you don't have control over it ! Thanks for sharing..

This image too has a conservation angle just as the title suggests. I agree with Ganesh that "stood up" posture would make the picture better but this stooping posture brings out the plight.
