UPDATED: A Lone Nest
I met a passionate researcher who is trying the save the life of this Spot Billed Pelican chick which had fallen from its nest and now lives in a simulated nest. Liberal use of the space around the "nest" is a conscious choice. When I saw a tree full of live nests with young ones being fed by parents composing this "nest" with space all around made a lots of philosophical sense. I thought the viewers will fill that empty space with a tree and nest like this one below.

But then, it is my assumption. The picture as such is my opinion. You don't need to care about it. That is what I mean by saying "opinion" and "truth" in some of my other posts. In my view "human art" (in any form, visual or written) has limited shelf life because they are all opinions. Things change overtime and they will not stand the test of time because they are not objective truths!! Only truth will last. What is truth? I only know what is not!!

Back to the subject, I hope it will recover and take on wings in the near future!!

For now I take solace in these words by Spinoza.

Whenever, anything in nature seems to us ridiculous, absurd or evil, it is because we have but a partial knowledge of things, and are in the main ignorant of the order and coherence of nature as a whole, and because we want everything to be arranged according to the dictates of our own reason; although in fact, what our reason pronounces bad is not bad as regards the orders and laws of universal nature, but only as regards the laws of our own nature taken separately. . . . As for the terms good and bad, they indicate nothing positive considered in themselves. . . . For one and the same thing can at the same time be good, bad, and indifferent. For example, music is good to the melancholy, bad to mourners, and indifferent to the dead. - (from Ethics by Baruch Spinoza)

Yes. We put it in our box. Think we did a good deed. The sombre empty space and the traces of red lines (like blood) suggest a possible alternative reality

Art is about what is inside rather than what is outside

.. I only know what is not!! .. so humble confession n openness to see from all the perspectives!, Ganesh :)
Love the traces of blood lines, as pointed by Raj .. but make me worrisome as open space makes it vulnerable to predators(?).
Regards.
