I think not fully camouflaged has helped the image, Anders. I like the subtle muted pastel tones on those bushes. I also like how you have composed the egret ( turning away) Typically an image like this needs to be printed large to appreciate the nuances. Thanks for sharing.

Good one. Keeping the subject small works for me . Two reasons. 1. This how we see most of the time in field. 2. Make the viewer enter the picture and look carefully
