I feel you should have increased the DOF and got the complete network in focus. It would have added to the image.

A very interesting abstract here. The veins of the dried leaf really lead you in the frame. The leaf being partially flat conveys a sense of end to the journey. Interesting in the case of this leaf the choices remain small.
