Vikas, thanks. About the cropped green leaves at the edges of the frame, I had no choice. I felt cropping them out impacted the scale, composition and feel and hence left them as is.

There is a dead half eaten moth, a fallen leaf about to decompose, some insect making path below the wet soil waiting to disintegrate everything that falls on the soil and there might be a seed somewhere below the soil waiting for the right time to sprout. Though everything seems disconnected from each other but all are connected. Nature of nature is it just about the connection of events or much more?

Hmm, I see it as a statement on fading transient identities. Each one is a unique identity in its own way but all are the same when it comes down to completing the cycle. All that identity was of temporary use.

This image immediately made me remember Nirlep's classic image here we meet . The intentions of the two images are different I guess. Yet I can't resist myself from remembering that image.

Only to add: Light blue really shines on dark brown.

I see this image as "end of an event" as key subjects are mostly "dead" - something like completing a full circle or 'task accomplished' - there is a deeper meaning as we dwell further into the thought process that connects one's thinking and the subjects in the image. Thanks for a thought provoking one !
