Ganesh,

I had to remember this image of Nirlep when I saw your image.

Oh! I did not remember. Thanks for sharing, Adithya.

While there appears a visual similarity between the two I don't mind moon being lost here amidst our artificial sources of light (unlike what Nirlep explained his thoughts behind his fine image). The tone here is not a sad one but expressing an awe. I liked how the false scale hides the beauty and enormity of another source of light in the nature. I wish there was a trail of a firefly in between to make it further intriguing.. :)

Yes Ganesh, though at the outset two images seem to have a similar theme, they are not.
I was about to write how this image evokes a happy note and then stopped to hear your thoughts :)

Interesting juxta n the way you have related, Ganesh. Yes, I could recall Nirlep's image.
How about trying for larger Moon n that too in a row!?

Nevil, larger moon may result in a different meaning/perspective. I had carried just couple of wide angle lenses and was waiting for some other action (a ritual called "Bootha Kola" in a remote village).
