1. Why should I have one?
For Nature all is same. However, I think, Nature wants you think you are better than others with all those 'action' shots. Poor Nature, it is unaware of your philosophic credentials!
Recently, I increasingly feel the need of stopping by every step and look around and enjoy what is there. Just be the unbiased witness to what is there. An attempt in seeing "It was there, I was there too...". No interpretation as a photographer. ( I know, from this moment the discussion goes in the philosophical direction. The moment I choose to capture something, frame something the prejudices start. Why did I decide to shoot that particular scene? For the moment I don't want to take the discussion in that direction)
That is what I call "Ascetic Nature Photography". I am not sure whether that comes first or "Philosophic Nature Photography" comes first. They may even be synonyms!
Anyway, welcome to the new path in the woods. I was feeling lonely
