किमान Minimal
Image which I made in my fearless stage (initial stage)..

And would like to say something on this forum that, In the early stages of our creative journey, we often produce images inspired by our dreams and innocent perspectives. However, as we progress, we may become fixated on achieving perfection, which can hinder our growth or we just doesn't like our new creations..

Is this only me who thinks like this or did this happened with anyone else or is this just a phase of journey? It would be great help if anyone can explain this phase and how to overcome from this situation?

Thanks in advance

Short critique first - I like the overall composition, grass and antlers. I would definitely clone out dust spots in the frame.

Is this only me who thinks like this or did this happened with anyone else or is this just a phase of journey? It would be great help if anyone can explain this phase and how to overcome from this situation?

Hmm, I will share my experience as a comment here in couple of days. It will not be a quick/short comment... :)

Here are some thoughts on perfection

- I have a perfectly made phone. How do I know ? It is exactly like the same model my friend owns and works exactly like his so has been perfectly made and copied

- Now I have photographed many trees and rocks. They each look different. There is no perfectness in nature another way of saying everything in nature is perfect. They are perfect on to themselves not a comparative perfectness

So many of us have gone through this "perfectness" phase especially I feel when we are influenced and are consciously or unconsciously in a imitating mode

Finally if something is created with a self directed intent then the road leads to where all art outputs are like "rocks and trees". They are perfect onto themselves. The artist stamp is in the perfect "imperfection" The Japanese philosophy around this is Wabi Sabi

Finally here is a Zen Koan about perfection : Think I have posted before

The First Principle
When one goes to Obaku temple in Kyoto he sees carved over the gate the words "The First Principle". The letters are unusually large, and those who appreciate calligraphy always admire them as being a masterpiece. They were drawn by Kosen two hundred years ago.

When the master drew them he did so on paper, from which the workmen made the large carving in wood. As Kosen sketched the letters a bold pupil was with him who had made several gallons of ink for the calligraphy and who never failed to criticize his master's work.

"That is not good," he told Kosen after his first effort.

"How is this one?"

"Poor. Worse than before," pronounced the pupil.

Kosen patiently wrote one sheet after another until eighty-four First Principles had accumulated, still without the approval of the pupil.

Then when the young man stepped outside for a few moments, Kosen thought: "Now this is my chance to escape his keen eye," and he wrote hurriedly, with a mind free from distraction: "The First Principle."

"A masterpiece," pronounced the pupil.

Art is about what is inside rather than what is outside

Love the unusual compo n the mood too! I love the way it is!, Mandar.
With time .. I have started loving imperfection n errors more than the perfection! .. and I really find very difficult to have a 'good' image with 'them', esp. with cultured mind n open eyes!

Mandar, back on the thread about question you asked:

Is this only me who thinks like this or did this happened with anyone else or is this just a phase of journey? It would be great help if anyone can explain this phase and how to overcome from this situation?

Due to insufficient space for this long reply, I have created a forum post. Please goto this thread to read my reply

In the world of this great comments, I've gone over them again and again, finding them full of meaningful and also those are hard to grasp because of lack of experience. But I've noticed that understanding art and perspective grows with time and experience. There are Some doubts which are hard to put into words, but I've realized that we're or we will be never the same as we started out. Our way of looking at things changes as we learn and grow. Every era teaches us new ways to see the world.

So, even though it's a bit confusing, it's like we're on a journey of learning and changing. We're always evolving, and that's what makes life interesting.

From those all comments I have learnt that, whenever I am doing photography for myself I have to follow my soul with free mind.

And thank you so much all for your precious explanations and experiences.. your experiences will always help us to grow early.. Thank you..
