Rocks and waves
A six layer gum print. I took time and built the tones over six layers. Which means six times of coating the paper, exposing, developing , drying and then repeat.

Raj, I guess organic depth you achieve here is directly proportional to number of layer in a gum print? Just wondering what causes that illusion (?) in multi layer prints? Is it playing with exposures across prints alone or the tiny differences (for bare eye) in registrations too contribute to the depth? Your thoughts?

Thanks Ganesh. Actually these phone photos do not reflect the actual print they add some digital changes that are not always controllable. ( May be I should even stop posting !) The actual material deposit on paper makes a difference I think in giving that feeling of depth. In wet condition you actually see the swollen shadow areas stand out from the paper.

Raj, continue to post your experimental results. Even if we can't feel the physical depth in the print at least it helps us remember what you produced and later we can request you to show the physical print :)
