Triptych - Version 01
About a week back myself and couple of my friends went to Ramanagara (Outskirts of Bangalore) and we were pretty disappointed with the cloud cover and even a surprise spell of rain ( in Winter !!! ). I stuck to my tele lens but instead of pointing it at the birds i pointed it a the corners of the various hills that i could scan through the view finder and started making "intimate landscapes" with "diagonals" as a theme. Now that I had few images in my kitty the way I wanted I was wondering from last one week regarding the presentation. Triptych was the first thing that came into my mind. Instead of usual piling up of 2 or 3 portrait images - i mashed up couple of portrait with a landscape images to come up with this one.

Personally not too happy with the effort but this apparently is my first triptych posted here so pretty excited about it.

Hope everyone had a nice holiday season and back from all the photography and family trips.

Everyone have a great Twenty10.

Individual/Overall image size doesn't seem to be doing enough justice to the IQ :(

Nice try Shiva. I am new to this concept here but I feel that this is a nice try. Now just wondering if you could have got the left diagonal and the right diagonal going in opposite directions then it would have been more interesting IMO. It would have broken the pattern (of diagonals going from the top left to the right bottom) in the image and would have formed a more interesting composition if you know what I mean.

Nice experiment Shiv ! Thanks for sharing.. After seeing this I am tempted to make a three such prints (portrait-landscape-portrait) and frame it !! Should look lovely on a wall. Interesting experiment here.

This experiment prompted me to look at my new web site design differently, will share it once it is done. Well it might take a long time. Thanks for sharing Shiv.
