Ice crest
This image was made 6 months back during the winter when the temperature was few below zero. A very small pond behind my house had frozen (semi-frozen u could say) with a thin crest/layer of ice on top. Beneath this crest were dry leaves submerged in water (brown in colour).
I felt the image could have been better with more DOF. I realized this after looking at the images on my computer screen & it was too late the next day (the ice had melted).
I have some more images to post. Shall post them in coming days.

Tech details: Nikon D70s + Nikkor 105mm VR; f/11, 1/80, tripod.

Views welcome...

Beautifully exposed image Kaushik. However, the lines starting from the topleft corner of the frame - the 'ice sheet' seems to create a less impact on the viewer. Waiting for other images from you.

A unique image Kaushik! Semi frozen water to appears like a molten glass. Reflected light is interesting too. May be smoother diagonal line would have strengthened this image further.

Compo is very good here and I find colours are nice. Very good effort here to capture melting moments.
