Beautiful first image - appears very unique. Love the selective DOF and perfectly sharp insect. Color scheme looks nice
too. May be there were other compositional possibilities for the better balance of the image due to posture of the insect (outward).

Wow, this image immediately caught my attention. Very apt DOF keeping the mosquito sharp & creamy bokeh in the BG. Agree with Ganesh on compositional aspects.

Really nice first image - liked the over all pastel soft feel in the image with good emphasis on the subject. But the composition wise it could have been better.

I tried to recompose the shot and present it in the Illustration forums. May be with a original image you can get better results.

You seem to have mastered the art of insect macro. Love the beautiful texture and the fantastic depth of field. Unbelievably good composition. I have failed to think of any suggestions to improve this great image!
