Hi Adithya,
I too will go with the views of Ganesh, Nevil and swhl about some visual anchor being there in order to convey your intent to the viewer. But having said this it also needs to be admitted that the frail black line in your image pushes the boundary of the concept of minimal composition. It also brings the question of form into discussion. …..i.e. how does it enhance our knowledge of nature through its visual grammar, for example Saurabh’s shot with human form gives another reason to empathise with a tree. how does it challenge the archetype image and provide new ways of looking. Well! any more of this and I would risk going off tangent but Adithya the confusion you talked about in your description of the image is indeed a profound one. Play with it. Bring out more of this.
