Can you elaborate the rationale behind this composition Praveen ? Looked a little unlike you....., I could not prevent myself from asking this. I sincerely hope that you did not mind. But if you really feel uncomfortable plz let me know....

What is the secret of this shot praveen? I can feel the textures of this shot on display that is not calibrated and yearning to see it on my personal monitor. Only 2 suggestions:

1. Tone it a little using silverEfex and reduce the exposure a tad.
2. Print it on Hahnemuhle canvas and get it the next the we meet!

this image to me is no way creative image.....i would not rate any thing above 5 for this ....now the question is why is on cnp?

in the process of making images at least in my case life experiences comes into the images at the time of shooting, selection process, post processing, etc….how this relates to this image is ,off late I came across some instances in my surroundings that communication between teenagers(girls) and parents (mothers) is decreasing or even not happening at times.…and in all cases mothers were less educated than their children….in the past I have seen most of the girls sharing what happened during the day to their mothers …this lack of communication is disturbing the balance of the family very much….i’m not sure if this a common case but then I can tell only form my experiences…..also came across few movies with similar topics too …….recently during a photo shoot I came across a mother and two daughters always whispering something very often.. …probably all these mixed experiences came to mind together as I saw this image in my achieve..…

now here in this image if observed ,it looks as though the young elephant is telling a secret to its parent(not sure if it’s the mother),but looks like that to me….
I wanted to share a way of communicating my thoughts regarding an event or incident through my images…..art works can be expressed in any way any medium as long as it has a common emotion linked to it is what I feel…..
The image in my achieve was a toned one but then I thought this one does not need any attachment other than the expression added to it..Toning it to me has an expression other than just colour effect for beauty…I associate toning to age or past…it can represent past very easily……

Nice crop here Praveen. Eyes makes it for me - to me there is an emotional link between those two eyes. I think the image looks a bit over sharpened on my screen.

let me disclose something Praveen , now you know that you can write and write bloody well, so never ever tell me that you can not express yourself by writing, all these days you were only thinking of that as an excuse and shying away from it . I was just waiting for the right moment to catch you off guard and make you write. So here it goes lol, extremely well written Praveen. I have no pre conceived ways of seeing art, your expressions and the way you felt about this silent communication has touched me deep inside. More than that, am so happy that you decided to break shackles and started writing so much to express yourself. So no more mails saying I can not write, you can and better than me at least. .
