Living On The E D G E...
Hello, I see too many less interactions between the members now-a-days... Is it because of anyones absence? (Am thinking Ganesh sir :?: )

Though am amateur I try to participate in one of the form... ;).. I like to learn... Most welcome for your critical suggestions...

Well, here is a new experimental shot from my new Nikon AF 50 mm f/1.8 lens... with a macro mount on it... I named this as Living on the edge as it was the blade of the leaf where tiny pearls of dew settled early in the morning... I feel it needs more brightness, but it looked okay without too... Like an abstract...

I want to hear from most of you... Thanks for your views and suggestions...

Thanks,
Raghu

I observed you go with a theme with your images which is very good and fine for me. Just make sure that the images stands out even without the description. Personally I feel titles and descriptions are like sign boards/ pointers. An image should be capable of holding the viewers even without the description/ title.
Just my opinion.
Back to the image, I liked how the grass blade splits the BG. I see some posterisation/jpg artifacts in the BG which can be corrected in PP.

Thanks Praveen, I have taken your views, will attempt this and
@Adithya... I can see those jpg artifacts/posterisations on the image.. I have recomposed the image with slightly a different tone, with priority to red channel and posting original too.. this was an attempt to capture Colocasia leaf blades... These leaves have a great ability to hold water and fluffy... and during winter if we observe it will have the stored water oozing out through its blade edges and veins of leaf... Thanks for your suggestions and the views on my images... Will expect your views on the re-composition...
