reflections
i must admit that its not creative of my own......Jayesh's photo had occupied my thoughts while taking this photo....
This is 90 degree clockwise rotated image....what i liked is the ripple and 3 different shades....i was in dual mind to convert this photo to monochrome, but finally kept the colored version....
Thanks for viewing, C&C most welcome...

Please explain your concept for rotating the image .....to me this image is good in its native orientation....conversion to monochrome also works if carefully processed.....the ripple in the image is interesting but then it should have been composed differently i feel ,as a strong point of visual interest..."let experimentation continue"....all the best...

I think not going B&W is a right decision - the blue tones are very pleasing. With the rotation ripples became texture which I kind of like it. The darker patch on right corner makes the rotation very evident (so is the concentric rings on lower left). I would probably consider cropping part of the dark patch to hide that feeling (but then you are left with rotated ripples too). A frame without the concentric rings would have worked better ? I know most of it are afterthought suggestions. Thanks for sharing Vikas..

Thanks Praveen and Ganesh for comments.
i have started experimenting on the minimalistic approach ( i don't know, if this is the right word to use). What i would like to display is, when we see our surrounding, there are so many things around us and many a times, they don't even get the attention of us. I don't know, if i am making sense here......another such experiment was gallery/image_page.php?album_id=1&image_id=5839 , where i was trying to show dew, grass, some dead plants, trees etc. I do not wanted the eye of the viewer to get attention of any single object or at some place of the photo.... i am yet struggling to display my thoughts in the photo, hopefully one day i will be successful in that and till that time please bear my images :)

Let me know, if my thoughts are not making sense.

about rotating the picture - i thought, by rotating, reflections will be little interesting and different shades were more evident on the rotated photo...i have not cropped any part of this image, i have just increased contrast a bit.

Vikas, you have made this well in color and the brightness in general appeals to me as the reflections are more evident in your image. Thanks for the feedback
on my image, I will improve upon further.
