You know dear, I was desperately trying to see this bird , but I guess the population is not as much in Dhikala as in Jhirna / Bijrani. Did you make this image in Dhikala zone ? I agree to this image a lot....it touches my heart more than a usual image of a hornbill....keep it going Arati, images can not be always about being good or bad, right or wrong , images convey more than that to the heart, this one surely does it for me......wonderful....

About where this was made - Bijrani. Having said that, minutes after driving out from Sultan (Dhikala range) we saw a pair of Great INdian Hornbills - a beautiful scape, with them flying from tree to tree over the river bed and beneath the wooded hills. Got lucky on this trip saw a bunch of these magnificent birds.
