Indeed it looks a side pose of a man.
A sharper rendition of the rock may also work.

A little more work on b/w conversion may enhance the 'man'.

Liked the way you chose to keep it out of focus. I agree with Aniket's thoughts. It indeed looks like a shouting primate, probably an orangutan :)
