Wow, great abstract for my taste buds. Looks like a painting by Jackson Pollock. Those numerous lines combined with yellow and red colours makes this image for me.

Very well captured, Sacha! It took me sometime to guess that its a rock. Initially I thought its a dry leaf. Those connecting veins make this image for me. TFS

It's amazing that when we think of nature and of forests, we rarely see the geological aspect of it. that is our failing... this image is one of my favorites from recent times on CNP. it has captivated me each time it shows up on Random Reveals. It must be interesting, the things you come across during your work ... fossils? amber?
