The breeding of frogs is on last season I missed out to make a image like this. I visualized just at the end of the monsoon to do one with a zoom burst of amplecting frogs. I had to wait for close to an year for the season to provide this situation of two amplecting Malabar Gliding frogs. I used two different colored torches for the zoom burst. I was handicapped with the absence of my tripod. I believe a little bit of shake in a zoom burst makes it more interesting.

It surely does VMR and I love the way you pull out these stunning images. Simply outstanding.

Very interesting execution here VMR. The intent and the moment is just perfect.

I was just thinking if it's possible (in case of zoom burst) to keep the eyes of the frog still and yet get the burst our of rest of the frame? I presume technically and "optically" it's not possible but if we can, then that would be something to go ahead and try.

May be I am too hypothetical here.. :D ;-)

Ah! I just had another idea, am not sure if you used lens baby here, but if you get a change I suppose whatever I was thinking and visualizing in my previous case is indeed possible using lens baby isn't it?!!!! Keep the eye perfectly in focus and distort the right portion of the frame!

Pramod initially I was also in the same dilemma of using a lensbaby for the same effect you have mentioned. I will try this as these frogs abound in my residence.

I would name this "Love in the fast lane! " Nice effect here and eventhough the shake is evident, it somehow adds as you pointed out. The tapering Road/Branch somehow adds the feel of a pathway which is laid out for the future generation of the frogs, resulting from the union. A very symbolic picture IMO
