Thank you masters, for the comments. Ganesh sir - cant agree more with you. Humble subjects like Flowers, Leaves are amazing creations and the pattern they exhibit begs a closer, deeper look. I sometimes feel terrible that these are often neglected, left to dry and thrown to the bins

Nice patterns and the dof is good to my liking. Is there a bug on the leaf? A little bit of backlight (flash underneath the leaves) could have helped - Just imagining

Great natural phenomenon! A little darker bg could have helped - I'm no expert, but just a thought I could see some waves at the right corner.. is it some kind of reflection?

Admirable image! Loved the 4K version more
The soft trees at the background and the haze adds a lot to this image.
Wonder how a fisheye lens perspective to this could be?------------------------------------------------

Hi Nirlep.. thanks for your thoughts. Yes I agree on the layers and a sort of high keyness - I was about to post the b/w version of this until the last moment and changed my mind
Want to understand the actual situation and the thinking that goes when we make an image.. I was bent upon getting a leaf image that should be unique and that was it. It was only when I saw it on my screen, my mind could think of all the abstracts as you mentioned. Does that stage of thinking on abstracts before making an image comes out of experience? or is it that the artist in you has not woken up yet? ------------------------------------------------

Interesting perspective and set up here Swapnil. Wish the leopard's tail was covered too and personally feel that a little more space at the bottom would have added. The little flower hmm.. could have been cloned? not sure

Both have unique characteristics and it it is hard to compare these 2 samples head on. I feel the composition has made the BW image a little more dynamic.. feel the lens was dug into the land to get this perspective! which I hope is not the case
The color image is brilliant but makes me feel its a regular tripod shot.------------------------------------------------

As usual brilliant image! It reminds me of some of your images from the "death" series (i cant see the link for some reason in your website).

Loved the sudden deep curves and color pattern. The tiny green plant adds life.
Sure you would have tried the b/w version of this - just eager to know how it came out. Any reason why you went with the horizontal frame? just curious
