Have you gone through George A. Miller's work on Seven plus or minus two ? I often think impact of image compositions are better characterized in its light.

Back to this modified version, I tend to think the new version (this one) has reduced state space compared to the one posted in the critique section.

Soaking all this in, Ganesh. trying to apply it to this and other images. the reduced state-space argument in this light makes abundant sense. allowing me to rationalize what i have been seeing in the last few days. thanks a lot.


this critique of yours, for "Siblings," has a life of its own, for sure :)
