It was a good Print Share meet, organised by Shankar Kiragi. Thanks Shankar. Well attended too. Highlights were:
1. I had invited my friend Chethan Ram to bring two of his framed prints. Though not nature photographs, these were excellent examples of glossy papers like Hahnemuhle PhotoRag Baryta and Pearl. Great feedback was given on the prints and framing.
2. Ganesh showed the Awagami Ink Jet papers from Japan. He also shared couple of prints on them. These papers have a character of their own and have great potential in exploring fine art prints.
3. Ganesh also unveiled a 4x6 print of a leaf on Canvas. This had incredible details. Everyone poured into this images with a microscope.
4. Raj shared contact prints and negatives from his large format camera, Vageeswari. The negatives were on X-Ray films and the prints were on Ilford paper. Raj is on a journey of re-exploration of analog photography that is devoid of all modern technology. Great insights into this world, a long forgotten one now.
Next meet will be anchored by Raviprakash. Sometime in Jun/Jul.
Ravi, please share the photos of the meet.
Thanks all for your time.
Regards,
Ramesh

Thanks, Ramesh for inviting Chetan. The prints and presentation was a good lesson. I just loved Raj's X-ray abstracts. I thought negative treated as positive has an interesting potential.
Looking forward to the next meet! Ravi, you may want to announce the approximate date so that people coming from other places may plan.

Other than the Camera you can see the Film back in which we have to load the film
Art is about what is inside rather than what is outside
