This image was taken at Kalinga mane in Agumbe. During the stream walk I spotted this orb weaver on of the plants. There were a lot of leaves in the background and I chose the background where the sunlight was selectively falling. I liked the image due to this selective lighting in the background.

I love the green glow against the silhouette of the spider. If this were mine, I would crop 30-40% from the top. Keep experimenting with different compositions!
